Friday 5 – Games People Play
Happy Friday. Here is this week’s Friday 5 :
- What’s your favorite card game? Shanghai. It is a progressive rummy type of game that I think my dad learned at work years ago. Everyone in the family plays and it is a lot of fun.
- What’s your favorite roll-the-dice-and-move game? Hmmm….can I say Yahtzee ? I guess not, you don’t “move” in that game. Um, I’ll say Payday. I love that game. I played it when I was a kid and then they quit making it. In later years, it was made again and I have it.
- What’s your favorite playground game?
I don’t remember what it was called. It was played with a bounce ball and the “court” was a big square divided into 4 squares that were numbered 1 – 4. But, I have no idea what it was called or really much more than that. Anyone ?
- What’s your favorite party game? BINGO ! Okay, not really a party game but you play it when a lot of people get together. I’m sticking with it.
- What’s your favorite computer game?
I don’t think I really have a favorite so to speak because I don’t really get hooked on one game for a long time. I like the games that are typically classified as “time-management” like Diner Dash, Wedding Dash, Farm Frenzy, etc. I frequently download games from the BIG FISH GAMES site where I am a member.
Now, the way this works, is that you answer these questions on your own blog, facebook, twitter, journal or whatever. And, if you don’t have one, and you feel like it, put your answers in a comment here.

Texas Tucker Adalwolf von Schneider
Note : You might have seen this post a few days ago before I put the pictures in – sorry about that. Here is the post with pictures.
So as I begin to catch up on the goings on with me since my blogging hiatus, I will start with the newest addition to the Schneider family here in Florida.
My parents went to Texas for the Christmas holidays which is common, and when they came home to Florida they brought with them this little guy :

He started out being called “Buster” but it was evident from day one that he needed a name much bigger and more prestigious than that. So, the discussion began. After many ideas, the name Tucker seemed to stand out as the favorite and all that was left was adding in the extra official stuff. We added Texas since that is where he was born. Joey wanted to add in Adalwolf so that made it in there. And finally, von Schneider rounded out his official AKC registered name.
Nowdays, when we don’t use the name Tucker, he also gets called “Tucker T”, “Tuck”, “Menace”, “Doglett”, “Chomper”, “The Chompinator”, “Chompy McChomperson” and many other variations. As you can guess, he has a slight problem with “innocent” biting. Just ask his toys who are all missing ears and tails at this point.
He has been a welcome addition and he is certainly fun to have around. I will try to post updates with his antics when I remember. Here are a couple more of his baby pics :

My Bucket List
Have you seen the movie ? I haven’t actually, but I have heard about it. Anyway, if you now have no idea what I am talking about – there is a movie called The Bucket List with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. Basically, Freeman’s character is diagnosed with cancer and he begins writing a “bucket list,” or things to do before he “kicks the bucket.” I won’t give away the rest of the movie, which will be easy since I haven’t seen it. But, these are the things on his bucket list :
- Witness something truly majestic
- Help a complete stranger for a common good
- Laugh till I cry
- Drive a Shelby Mustang
- Kiss the most beautiful girl in the world
- Get a tattoo
- Skydiving
- Visit Stonehenge
- Spend a week at the Louvre
- See Rome
- Dinner at La Cherie d’Or
- See the Pyramids
- Get back in touch (previously “Hunt the big cat”)
- Visit Taj Mahal, India
- Hong Kong
- Victoria Falls
- Serengeti
- Ride the Great Wall of China
These are a little lofty for me, although I might put a couple on my list. Anyway, I am starting a bucket list. You can see my MASTER Bucket List by clicking HERE. But, I will also post individual posts when I add something to it or do something on it.
You should try putting one together for yourself. Do you have one already or a list in your head. Share some of your bucket list items in the comments if you like.
Friday 5 – What’s It Like
I know some people don’t like ‘The Friday 5′ but I think it makes for consistent blogging. So, I am resurrecting it for my new blog. This inaugural week, I have decided to respond to the 5 questions with pictures so without further discussion :
1. What is your keyring like?

2. What is your purse/bag/briefcase like?
3. What is your wallet like?

4. What is your mousepad like?
5. What are the curtains in your bedroom like?
Now, the way this works, is that you answer [photograph] these questions on your own blog, facebook, twitter, journal or whatever. And, if you don’t have one, and you feel like it, put your answers in a comment here.
