Changed the look of the page today…..trying something new. I like my blog to be darker colors so we’ll try this one for a bit. What do you think ??

I decided I needed to finish up May with an update. I had a great birthday on the 18th. I got a few cards in the mail and some fun e-cards on my computer. We went to dinner on the 17th at Carrabba’s Italian Grill. I had a yummy combo platter called ‘The Johnny’ and they came and sang and gave me an ice cream dessert.
No, I didn’t hide under the table, leave the restaurant or cry when they came and sang to me. I still didn’t like it but I dealt with it. We opened presents at the restaurant, which was fun. I got a big Lemon-Lavender Yankee candle that I had asked for, some teal crocs, a pillowcase you can color, a movie theatre gift card and a Disney gift card for our trip in July. Overall, it was a fun celebration.
My friend, Courtney, from Texas came for a visit on the 23rd. We went fishing every day and twice one day. We didn’t have much luck with the fish but we had a good time. We also went to see two movies; Star Trek [again for me] & Angels and Demons. Both were very good and entertaining.
Sunday, we went to see the Charlotte Stone Crabs play baseball. They are the minor league team for the Tampa Bay Rays. It was fun. We had great seats behind home plate and the weather was fantastic.
The next thing you know the week was over and then wham-bam it’s June.
GPS Sillyness

So, yesterday I was driving to a friend’s house to drop off a birthday card and decided to use my GPS, even though I know how to get there….I laughed because I got to this one street to turn on and the GPS says :
“Turn left in 2 miles on Edgewater Doctor.” … lol, Edgewater Doctor…..how about Edgewater Drive !?!? Funny, you would think when something is abbreviated Dr. that a GPS would know that means Drive.
